Good Afternoon Parents!
We made it to Spring Break! We had a wonderful time on our field trip yesterday. The kids were so well behaved and we learned so much about the history of South Riding and our surrounding community. Ask them what the original name of South Riding was! I want to give a huge thank you to my five wonderful chaperones. I couldn’t do these activities without you!
Focus Areas for the week after break:
Reading: We will study poetry and write our own poems. I am going to try and arrange a parent Poetry Tea. Details to come!
Math: We will begin our unit on Decimals,
VA Studies: We will begin Chapter 7- The Civil War.
