Weekly Update

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday!  It's hard to believe we have made it to Spring Break!  Truth be told, I'm kinda limping to the finish line.  It will be nice to have a few days at home with my children. I am looking forward to working in the garden and getting a few home projects completed.  Before we have a week off from school, here's your weekly update.

Spring Break Reading Incentive:

The kids have made a "Bucket List" Spring Break reading incentive.  If they complete and return this signed bucket list on April 6th or 7th, 2021, I will let them make a trip to the treasure box or receive a Pawsome award (their choice) The catch is, they must turn it in completed and signed on the due date. No late submissions will be accepted!  :)    (Responsibility lesson here) 

Focus Areas for the Coming Week:

• Reading:  We will continue preparing for the Reading SOL and learning different test taking strategies that can help them when taking any test. 
• Math:  We will practice making equal groups to help us solve basic division problems and show how to multiply the quotient and divisor to check their work. 
• Social Studies:  We will begin our Performance Assessment for VA Studies.
