Phew! We made it through another week! The meme above made me chuckle because I know how true it is. I am dealing with it with my own children over here. The struggle is real! Thank you for all the support and help you provided me and your child this week. It is appreciated more than you know!
MAP Testing
As you know, we have begun our MAP testing. I sent an email earlier this week that said the technology piece of it was posing to be a bit more challenging than anticipated. We will continue it through next week during small group time. I will let your child know in the Daily Agenda each morning when they will meet with me in a small group to continue/ finish their test. Please keep in mind there may be some questions on the assessment that will be difficult for your child to answer as the materials haven't been taught yet. In order to maintain the most accurate depiction of your child's knowledge and readiness, please refrain from assisting your child with the reading of difficult words, passages, and solutions or strategies to math problems. I know it will be hard to watch your child struggle and take a test, but it is imperative that I get the most accurate data on your child. Thank you!

Online Resource Permission Form
Below is a permission form for the online web applications that we will be using throughout the year to enhance our online learning. We must have parent permission on file to use these programs. This is a grade-level created form, so there may be apps listed that our specific class won't end up using, but we wanted to cover all bases just in case! Please fill this out right away if you haven't already, it was due the first week of school.
That's all I have for now. This weekend we are hoping to get our Fall decorations out and watch the boys play some baseball. I hope you have something fun planned and get some much needed time away from the screens.
